We had a great day today. We left Helena around 10:30 this morning, headed for Yellowstone. It was a short travel day for us. So we made a couple of stops, and just took our time, arriving in the Rocky Mountain RV Park in Gardiner mid afternoon.
We had rain on & off throughout most of the trip. In fact it’s still raining in Gardiner. But no complaint from us, Montana needs rain too badly to complain.
Besides after all the travel, the rig and truck could really need a good cleaning. So if the rain helps, it’s a positive even for us tourists.
We’ll head into Yellowstone Park tomorrow. We’re less than a mile from the north gate. Meantime, we’re very happy thus far with the RV park we selected (shot of our view included). We’re sitting in a sight overlooking the Yellowstone River. We have cable and WiFi to our site. So hopefully we’ll be able to post more frequently.
